Day 1

Hotel Pickup in Cusco

The Laguna Huaypo – Maras ATV tour begins with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We then travel by tourist transport to Cruzpata, enjoying the scenery of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Arrival at the ATV Base and Driving Practice

We arrive at the base where you will receive a safety briefing and a driving practice session. Helmets and gloves are provided before starting the ATV adventure.

Start of the ATV Tour to Laguna Huaypo

The ATV adventure begins, traveling along rural roads of the Sacred Valley, surrounded by mountains, Andean crops, and natural landscapes.

Visit to Laguna Huaypo

We arrive at Laguna Huaypo, one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the Sacred Valley. Free time for photos and enjoying the Andean surroundings.

Return to the Base by ATV

We begin our return trip by ATV along the same route, once again enjoying the adrenaline rush and unique views of the Laguna Huaypo Cusco ATV tour.

Transfer to the Maras Salt Mines

We leave the ATVs at the base and continue by tourist transport to the Maras Salt Mines, one of the most visited attractions in the Sacred Valley.

Visit to the Maras Salt Mines

We explore the Maras Salt Mines, with thousands of salt ponds used since pre-Incan times. Learn about the artisanal process and its history.

Return to Cusco and End of the Tour

We conclude the Laguna Huaypo – Maras ATV tour with the return to Cusco. The tourist transport will drop you off near Plaza Regocijo.

What to bring on this excursion

Weather

The weather in Cusco is unpredictable. The dry season in Cusco runs from April to October, but this doesn't mean it can't rain in June or shine in December; simply be prepared for any weather.

Be sure to pack appropriate clothing, including a waterproof jacket, trousers, poncho, and waterproof gloves.

Also, be prepared for cold and windy conditions.
